The bed was the last thing i attempted building as in my mind it was the simpler structure. Well, surprise surprise, once again I was proved wrong. It only took me 2 days to build it but oh dear, how i struggled! As with everything else during the conversion, this was my first attempt building a bed. It’s not perfect but it does the job.
Another scary step of your van conversion: installing the gas to use for the kitchen.
It i VERY important to plan thoroughly were and how to install your gas bottle and to be aware all of the necessary safety rules. You really don’t want to mess up with gas!

I must admit, my woodworking skills are not the greatest.
The kitchen was built in a real rush (less than 4days) and I’m not 100% with the result. I thought I would share some pictures anyway to show that even without any experience, you can build a half decent kitchen.
Once installed the second battery and the split charge relay (more here), my mission was to put the LED lightning on the roof.

Fab. This is how you can install your split charge relay. Most kits will also come with the instructions so you should already have a ruff idea on what needs to be done.
When i started working on Pamthevan I had no idea on how electricity worked. Even after finishing the electrical system i still have no clue. But i guess it’s a bit like using a car while not knowing how it exactly works: you know it’s dangerous and you know you have to be careful!
