When i started working on Pamthevan I had no idea on how electricity worked. Even after finishing the electrical system i still have no clue. But i guess it’s a bit like using a car while not knowing how it exactly works: you know it’s dangerous and you know you have to be careful!

Carpeting the Sides and the Drivers cabin

To carpet the rest of the Kangoo you will need to carpet the pillars (where the seat belt lives) the sides below the windows and the roof above the driving cabin.

Carpet Lining: Introduction and Technique

Now that you are done with your insulation, it is time to start carpeting your van. The carpet is also an insulator and sound dampener, but it looks much much nicer than foil bubble wrap! If done properly, the carpet will give your van a finished and homely feel.

Walls and Doors insulation and lining

The second part to be insulated in Pam the van was the walls and the two sliding doors.

The sides are not ply lined (due to awkward angles and shapes) while the doors are.
