Game aside, best camping spot ever. Flowers blossoming everywhere, a marmot coming out to watch the sunset every day at 7pm and a nearby creek full of beavers. No bears yet 🐻

This picture was taken while bike riding a section of the Kettle Valley Rail Trail in the southern Okanagan in Canada.

This used to be, as you might have guessed, a railway that has now been converted in a beautiful trail where if you are lucky enough you can spot black bears, cougars and rattlesnakes(no I wasn't lucky enough).

Can't quite figure out if the Canadian spring is more stunning than anywhere else I've been or if it feels this way because the winter is so damn long!

Either way, I'm a lucky gal to be able to experience it.

No bears in sight though (not yet!) 🐻.

One year today since Odie passed away. . Miss him

One year today since Odie passed away. .
Miss him everyday but he visits me often in my dreams.
.
This is how I like to remember him, goofy and cuddly.
.
I have set up a fundraiser for a charity close to my heart @ipelosettidisilvanaonlus who does and incredible job rescuing and caring for dogs coming from difficult situations.
.
